The Flamenco and Classical Guitarist

Inspired at the age of six by two young Cypriot brothers playing classical guitar together on a beach in Cyprus, he showed a great talent for the instrument and under the guidance of Karl Knight, a student himself of John Williams’ father, he began to master the elements of Flamenco and Spanish guitar, making his first public performance at age eight.

Flamenco gave Clark a vehicle to express his creativity due to its inherent improvisational qualities. The rhythms, dynamics, emotion and passion of this genre inspired Clark to master other genres of music and compose many pieces  guided by his influences; Paco de Lucia , Al de Meola, Gypsy Kings, Django Rheinhart, Mike Oldfield, Pat Metheney to name but a few.

Flamenco, Classical , Jazz, Blues, Latin, Celtic and even rock find their way into his repertoire executed with great technique and a sweet expressive style rich in rhythm and tone.
